Join the Transportation Infrastructure Precast Innovation Center (TRANS-IPIC) at the TRB 104th Annual Meeting in Washington, D.C., for our Workshop on the The Role of Precast Concrete in the Sustainability of Transportation Infrastructure: Approaches and Challenges. This workshop will provide an overview of the green concrete technologies that are either successfully implemented or showing promise for implementation in precast concrete (PC) transportation infrastructure. The workshop will delve into the efforts made by researchers and practitioners in advancing transportation sustainability using eco-friendly concrete as well as the challenges facing the practical application of these new concretes in transportation infrastructure.

Topics include (1) precast concrete pavement design, (2) designing with long-life in mind, (3) working with alternative cements and SCMs, and (4) revolutionizing precast concrete production.
