2024
Monday, 04/22/2024
8:30 AM – 4:30 PM (CST)
Big Ten Office and Conference Center (Rosemont, IL)
Workshop Scope
The Transportation Infrastructure Precast Innovation Center (TRANS-IPIC) is a University Transportation Center (UTC) federally funded by the USDOT and is the first consortium to address the U.S.'s transportation infrastructure durability and sustainability challenges by focusing on Precast Concrete (PC)-related technologies. Our research seeks to advance the holistic infrastructure PC construction, implementation, and maintenance process.
We are proud to host our first annual in person Workshop on April 22, 2024. During this Workshop, principal investigators (and their students) from five universities will present talks on the exciting results of their research.
Who Should Attend?
TRANS-IPIC 2024 Workshop is for engineers, researchers, and industry members interested in advancing their knowledge of Precast Concrete (PC), PC-related technologies, and utilizing PC to boost durability, safety, and climate-adaptability of various transportation modes in the U.S. through infrastructure repair and reconstruction.
